| Short-term medical workers are needed to serve for 2-3 weeks on a medical van that services small villages in Kyrgyzstan. The medical van travels from village to village, every two-three months, providing free medical care to children from birth to age 16 and to women of childbearing age, as well as providing eyeglasses to adults. Staff on the medical van consists of two dentists, four dental hygenists, a nurse/lab tech, a pediatrician, a gynecologist, an eyeglass technician, and an evangelist. The short-term missionaries will live and work alongside these individuals, conduct seminars for them in the missionaries area of knowledge, and help conduct a health education class. This opportunity can be filled by individuals or by small teams of 2-3 people. |
