The East of Lake Victoria Diocese (ELVD) of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tanzania uses Mission Training Centers (MTC) to train lay leaders who begin new churches among the unreached Sukuma people. This effective program has led to thousands of people becoming Christians. At the MTC in Musengwi, a dormitory building was begun so that students could have a place to sleep during the four days of training each month. However, there were not enough funds to complete the building. The students now sleep in the church office and store room. A short-term team could make a big impact by helping to complete this project. Funds need to be raised for the materials. The team is than invited to come and work alongside the local church   members to finish the construction. The unity of the church internationally because of Jesus’ love for us is certain to be demonstrated through a project such as this!
