Luth. pastor Portland, Oregon, Astoria, Oregon, Decotab, Iowa., Mankato, Minnesota; prof. Luther Sem., Saint Paul, Minnesota (later dissolved and reest. as Luther Theol. Sem.) 1901. Works include Christian Doctrine (pub. posthumously as completed by his son, Olaf Hjalmar Hove, b. November 30, 1906).
