Pastor Hillsdale and Coldwater, Michigan, 1861; Sandy Creek, near Monroe, Michigan, 1863; Sebewaing, Michigan, 1867; Royal Oak, Michigan, 1873 (also 1st dir. of the Missouri Syn.. school for deaf [see also Deaf, 10] and head of the Missouri Syn. orphanage there).
