Gk. and Heb., Northwestern U., Watertown, Wisconsin, 1872–1912 (inspector 1874–81). Secy. Ger. Am. Press Assoc. 1870; pres. Ger. School Assoc. of Pennsylvania 1871. Tr. J. K.
