Using the LCMS School Locator
The LCMS School Locator is designed to search for and identify LCMS schools in one of the following manners:

• City alone (returns all congregations in that city no matter what state)
• State alone (returns all congregations in that state)
• City and state

or you may search by:

• Zipcode alone (returns all congregations in that ZIP)
• Zipcode and mileage range (distance in miles from the ZIP's population centerpoint)

or you may search by:

• District alone

The locator will only search using the combinations above. If you enter more information it will perform the first search combination that matches the above list in the following order:

1. Zipcode and mileage range (distance in miles from the ZIP's population centerpoint)
2. Zipcode alone (returns all congregations in that ZIP)
3. City and state
4. State alone (returns all congregations in that state)
5. City alone (returns all congregations in that city no matter what state)
6. District alone
