National Children's Ministry Conference

Thank you to the planners, participants, presenters, and exhibitors, who made "Sandals to Sneakers," the second LCMS National Children’s Ministry Conference, a great success.  The event was held July 7-10, 2011, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Orange, Calif.  See this article in the LCMS Reporter for a review of the event.

Christian Education Month Resources

A resource for a Christian Education Sunday Celebration (Rally Day) was shared with participants at the recent National Children's Ministry Conference and is now available online to all congregations.  The "New Shoes" resource is available through Iowa District West.  The resources (sermon, children's lesson, skit, family devotions, family activities and service projects, and theme songs) are based on Romans 6:4.
