The director of Mission Networking for the Board for Black Ministry Services focuses primarily on planting churches; the revitalizing of existing congregations for the sake of the new mission development and the sharing of mission resource information.
LCMS Black Ministry has 300 congregations, 122 African American pastors active and retired, 100 white pastors serving in predominately African American congregations and 15 active Black Ministry Districts Units.
God calls us to be missionaries, to go and make disciples for Jesus Christ. Black Ministry advocates that the work of the Great Commission among blacks be executed by all LCMS entities, and, likewise that its black constituencies be involved in telling and living the good news of Jesus Christ wherever they may go.
