Education Goals

Provide a linking network for schools. Educators and Resources so that schools are restructured, educators are highly motivated, professional workers recruited for Gospel Mission and Ministry.

Mage Outcomes for the Board for Black Ministry Services Relating to Education:

#3 – Schools: 50% of Urban Lutheran Schools in Black Ministry are position for maximum outreach to African Americans.

Schools:

1.     Hand-in Hand, pastoral involvement, faith based involvement, home visits, public relations and community outreach.

2.     Funding, Synodical trained teachers, increased salaries, families, congregations, area churches, create new schools.

3.     Congregational ministry institutes with certification for growth and services increased value and recognition of schools.

Observable Indicators:

• Link Schools to resources of Communities, Congregations, Districts and Synod.
• Work with educators through retreats, conferences, workshops and consultations.
• Unite and promote recruitment of professional workers, by professional workers, through Sunday Schools, Elementary Schools, High Schools, Youth Groups, Concordia University System, Convocations and all endeavors of the Synod.
