Worship, nurture, and inspiration are central components of the Synod convention.  Therefore, worship, Bible study, and prayer are incorporated into the very heart of this assembly.  The importance of these spiritual elements is stressed in the bylaws of the Synod, which state, “Convention preachers, worship leaders, and essayists shall be appointed by the President prior to the convention.”
