CONCORDIA SUNDAY
Every year the Board for University Education designates one Sunday during the month of April as an opportunity for the congregations of The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod to celebrate Concordia Sunday. The president of LCMS, Rev. Dr. Gerald Kieschnick, refers to them as "crown jewels...wonderful gifts of God to our church body...Christian higher education from a Lutheran perspective.
Concordia Sunday is an opportunity to share the ministries of our colleges and universities with the members of all LCMS congregations. Materials (brochures, bulletin inserts, envelopes for financial support, etc.) are available from the Office of University Education.
