Sparkler Mission Projects -
How do they work?

The children of your church or school can be mission supporters!

When you share God’s love with the children in your church or school, the Holy Spirit is at work in your life and in theirs. Sparklers mission projects are one way for your students to respond to the grace of God in their lives!

LCMS World Mission knows children can play an important role in spreading the Gospel message of salvation through Jesus Christ. In fact, that is what Ablaze! is all about: people of the LCMS, along with our partner churches, sharing their faith with unreached or uncommitted people. The children of your church or school can help reach 100 million people with the Gospel message!

How can you get your church or school’s children started on a mission journey that can last a lifetime? Follow these steps!

1. Pick a Sparklers project that best fits your students.
2. Promote the Sparklers project among your students and their families. (There are great mission education resources to help you do this!)
3. Collect offerings (Download Project Completion Form).
4. Send in your gift for God’s mission!
5. Sign up for Involving Kids in God's Mission e-News list to get monthly updates and/or mission education ideas.
