Short-term Missionary

Short-term missionaries are needed to serve alongside missionaries and partner churches for one week to six months.

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" (Romans 10:14-15)

Short-term missionaries serve in various and important roles in His harvest field. Short-term missionaries have served as pastors, nurses, doctors, teachers, business managers, camp counselors, and in many other crucial positions.

As a short-term missionary, you will have an excellent opportunity to build lasting relationships, use your God-given gifts to His service, experience church and life in another culture, and become a beacon of light in a dark world.

Vary. Short-term missionaries are responsible for all travel and coordination costs. I some cases, short-term missionaries may be responsible for project costs.

Application, references, pastoral recommendation, and placement interview with LCMS World Mission staff.
