I certify that the image I am providing is free of copyright protection, or that I am the owner of any copyrights related to the image. I acknowledge that the intention of donating the image is to add them to The Lutheran Witness Photo Library and attest that submitting this image is not in violation of any intellectual property laws. Further, I understand that once I donate an image to The Lutheran Witness Photo Library, I am no longer the owner of the image and, consequently, forfeit any claim to copyright. I also have read and understand The Lutheran Witness Photo Library Policy written below.

• This is a royalty-free photo library. All submissions are free.
• Images contained in the library are to be used for personal or non-profit use. Use of images for commercial gain or the selling of any library image is prohibited.
• All artwork and photo submissions are reviewed prior to posting in the library. Your work may be accepted or rejected for inclusion. No notification will be communicated other than the posting of your submission to the library, if it is accepted.
• If your work is rejected, no explanation will be given but would usually be due to poor image quality, unacceptable subject matter, unusable file, poor design, large file size, or simply be owing to the reviewer's discretion.
• Your image may need to be re-sized to fit the site. This works best with high-resolution files.

• Your own original artwork or photography
• High-resolution files - preferred for posting in the library
• JPG, PNG, and GIF files submitted at 72 dpi are welcome but are not suitable for print output
• Print resolution files - 300 dpi in CMYK color mode
• Web resolution files - 72 dpi in RGB color mode
• Scanned images at 300 dpi (you are responsible for cropping scanned images)
• Illustrations and digital art should be supplied in a vector-based format.

• Work created by others
• Copyrighted or trademarked material
• Images larger than 1 MB
• Images re-sized from small to large (loss of image quality).
• Photos with poor lighting
• Adult or illegal material

The Lutheran Witness Photo Library has been created to provide a photo and artwork image resource for LCMS members that can be downloaded to use online, in presentations, or in print materials designed for non-profit use.

Although images aren't required to be religious in nature, your donated images should lend themselves to uses of a religious nature. In addition to images reflecting Christian concepts, ideas, or symbols, you also may consider submitting images that reflect family, educational, social, vocational, historical, natural or other kinds of scenes.
