Confusion runs rampant about the sanctity of human life, religious liberty and the definition of marriage. It can be overwhelming at times and yet, as Lutherans, we have a compassionate message of hope for a fallen world and for each other. We remain in the world and yet not of this world. But while we are here, we as the church must speak.
