Kristin Freeman serves as manager of mercy engagement for the LCMS Office of National Mission. She previously worked for LCMS School Ministry and taught Spanish in Lutheran schools for many years. Freeman is currently studying to be a deaconess through Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne. She and her husband have two children. They are members of Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Charles, Mo.
