Rev. Jeffrey and Deaconess Gina Teeple

Missionary Pastor and Communications Project Manager

Serving the Lord in the Germany

Bio

The Rev. Jeffrey and Deaconess Gina Teeple serve the Lord through The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) as missionaries in Germany. Jeffrey serves as a missionary pastor to Trinity Lutheran Church in Frankfurt. Trinity is an English-speaking congregation that serves expat families from around the world. As communications project manager, Gina works with the Eurasia communication specialist, missionaries and LCMS Communications to support projects in the region and facilitate communication to supporters and donors.

Jeffrey is from Fort Wayne, Ind., and the family’s home congregation is Peace Lutheran Church, Fremont, Ind. Jeffrey has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Calvin College, as well as Master of Divinity and Master of Sacred Theology degrees from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne (CTSFW). He is currently a Doctor of Ministry candidate at CTSFW. From 2003 to 2025, he served congregations in Wisconsin and Indiana. During his free time, he enjoys reading, fishing and spending time with his family.

Gina is from Grand Haven, Mich. She has a bachelor’s degree in English from Indiana University and a Master of Arts in deaconess studies from CTSFW. Over the years, Gina has worked in a variety of settings, including a maximum-security prison, a shipyard and county government. After becoming a deaconess, she served at CTSFW; Peace, Fremont; and as director of development and ministry relations at Worship Anew, an LCMS Recognized Service Organization in Fort Wayne. She was also a stay-at-home mother to their two children, Lauren and Elliot. Only Elliot has accompanied them to the mission field.

The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod Inc., including Mission Central (in Mapleton, Iowa), is an IRS registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charity.

A contribution designated (restricted) for a specific purpose, when accepted, will be used only to fund expenses related to that purpose. Occasionally, we may receive more in contributions for a particular purpose than can be wisely applied to it in the foreseeable future or the purpose may cease to be feasible. In these situations, the LCMS will make reasonable attempts to contact contributors to apply their contribution toward another aspect of ministry that aligns closely the contributor’s goals and values. If a contributor cannot be contacted, the LCMS will use the gift to meet a similar pressing need that most closely matches the contributor's original intent.

Consistent with Synod Board policy and in recognition of a more challenging economic and philanthropic/fundraising environment due to inflationary pressure, not more than 14 percent of any charitable contribution will be allocated to administering gifts and communicating with contributors. Contributions received and accepted by the LCMS are deemed to be in agreement with this statement.
