Restoring, rebuilding continues in Texas after Hurricane Harvey

LCMS Disaster Response and the Texas District continue to provide relief assistance following Hurricane Harvey in August 2017. Eight disaster recovery sites are set up, and Lutheran Early Response Teams from throughout the U.S. have also joined in providing aid to Texas communities. Read more in Lutherans Engage the World

Synod, partners maintain relief efforts in wake of five disasters

Beginning in late August 2017, LCMS World Relief and Human Care and its Disaster Response arm have joined with church leaders and district disaster coordinators to bring help — both physical and spiritual — to the hurting in the wake of three devastating hurricanes, a major earthquake and menacing wildfires.
