About

Matt and Dee Dee Wasmund live in Seoul, South Korea, where Matt serves as the regional shared ministries manager for The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS). In this role, Matt assists with programs, projects and services that extend across multiple countries in the LCMS Asia region. As they facilitate short-term mission teams, organize events with church partners and serve in various capacities in their overseas congregation, International Lutheran Church in Seoul, Matt and Dee Dee share the Gospel, support the planting of Lutheran churches and show Christ’s mercy in their community.

The Wasmunds consider both Faith Lutheran Church in Eustis, Fla., and Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church in Loudon, Tenn., as their home congregations. Their daughters, Lily and Olivia, now attend university in the U.S.

Lift up the Wasmund family in prayer as they serve in East Asia. They share: “We are very grateful for the ministry partners who support us in many ways, not the least including faithful prayers lifted up on our behalf for protection, wisdom and continued guidance. We sincerely thank you.”

Let us give thanks to God that the Wasmunds are serving in this part of the world.
