The Rev. Daniel Galchutt serves as Chief Mission Officer of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS). He previously served six years on the staff at the LCMS Kansas District as the assistant to the district president for Mission and Stewardship. Before joining the staff of the Kansas District, he was pastor of Calvary Lutheran Church, Topeka, Kan., and St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Haven, Kan. His experience in the parish blessed him with the opportunity to serve as a vicarage supervisor, work with a Lutheran grade school and two preschools, be part of a building project, and experience many other joys and challenges in ministry. Galchutt and his wife, Melissa, have been married since 2001 and are blessed to be raising five children.
