Jennifer Hummel

About

Jennifer Hummel serves in LCMS Mission Advancement as manager of sponsorship programs. In this role, she oversees Christ’s Care for Children: Kenya, the LCMS’ first child sponsorship program; Project 24 in Kenya; and the LCMS sponsorship program in Tanzania. She and her team have the privilege of sharing how God is working through these programs to care for vulnerable children, with the goal of expanding sponsorship opportunities into other countries.
Hummel has served with the LCMS since 2016. Prior to that, she worked as a senior account executive in the B2B (business-to-business) market, consulting with organizations on their voice and data needs. She and her husband, Fred, have been blessed with two sons and two grandchildren and are members of Christ Memorial Lutheran Church in St. Louis.
