About
Martha Dahlke serves The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) as a mission advocate, serving congregations, groups and individuals in North Dakota, South Dakota, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Utah, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. She also is director of campaigns and special initiatives for LCMS Mission Advancement. Both roles afford her the opportunity to serve people who are passionate about growing Christ's kingdom through their joyful giving.Christians are called to serve Christ's church through their vocations. For some, that means traveling to far-off lands to share the life-saving Gospel of Christ's life, death and resurrection for our sins. For others, that means lifting up these missionaries in prayer and partnering with them in support of this work. God has called Dahlke to serve His people by guiding their philanthropic gifts, first at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, and now with the LCMS for the past 18 years.
Dahlke is blessed with a wonderful extended family. Her father, father-in-law and brother-in-law all serve the church as pastors. Her husband, Dan, was previously a missionary in Côte d'Ivoire, making him the third generation in his family to serve in the mission field.
