Meredith Whitefield Smith

Communication Specialist, LCMS Youth Ministry

About

Meredith Whitefield Smith serves as communication specialist for LCMS Youth Ministry, where she leads messaging and media content for youth-focused initiatives, including the LCMS Youth Gathering, YouthLead and LCMS Servant Events. Her work centers on connecting young people and the adults who serve them through engaging digital content.

Born and raised in Houston, Smith credits her love for serving Christ through her vocation to the supportive adults who encouraged her throughout her Lutheran grade and high school years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication with a minor in tourism management from Texas A&M University. Since joining the LCMS Youth Ministry staff in 2017, Smith has helped shape communication efforts that equip both youth and adults across the LCMS.

Now based in St. Louis, she enjoys exploring the city with her husband, Alex; spending time with friends and family; attending concerts; supporting the Aggies; and rooting for the Houston Astros.
