Robyn Armbrust

About

Robyn Armbrust is administrative coordinator for the LCMS Office of Pastoral Education. She was raised by Lutheran educators in the St. Louis area. As a child, she attended Word of Life Lutheran School, where her father, Art Hemler, served as principal. She is a graduate of Sheboygan Lutheran High School in Sheboygan, Wis. She went on to earn both her director of Christian education (DCE) certification and elementary education degree from Concordia University Chicago, River Forest, Ill., in 1990. After serving as a DCE at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Springfield, Va., Armbrust taught at St. John's Lutheran School in Winston-Salem, N.C., and St. Paul's Lutheran School in Des Peres, Mo.

God has blessed Armbrust through 30-plus years of marriage to her husband, Kevin, who works at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. They have two daughters: Anna and Sarah.
