About
"The Rev. Nathaniel and Emma Jensen serve the Lord through The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Nathaniel is pastor of Kaiserslautern Evangelical Lutheran Church, which serves U.S. military members stationed in the area as well as other English speakers. In addition, he works with the Synod’s partner church in Germany to proclaim the Gospel to non-English speakers, and he serves as a mentor to seminary students throughout the region.Nathaniel was born in St. Louis, Mo., and his home congregation is Peace Lutheran Church, St. Louis. He received a bachelor’s degree in German and Theological Languages from Concordia University Wisconsin, Mequon, Wis. (CUW), and a Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Ind.
Emma is from Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., and her home congregation is St. Barnabas Lutheran Church, Sault Ste. Marie. She received a bachelor’s degree in Parish Music (including organ and violin) from CUW, which she puts to good use at the congregation in Kaiserslautern. She also studied Theological Languages. Nathaniel and Emma have two daughters, Agatha and Cecilia.
Pray for the Jensens as they serve in Germany. Pray that God would bring the U.S. forces stationed around the world to His holy Word and Sacraments. Pray for the successful proclamation of that Gospel to the non-Christian peoples of Europe. Ask the Lord to be with the seminary students in Europe, that they might learn to teach the faithful, reach the lost and care for all, ever holding fast to the Holy Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions."
