Zachary Turley

Bio
Zachary Turley serves the Lord through The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) as a missionary in Japan. As a vicar in the international mission field, Zachary is preaching the Word of God, teaching biblical truths and sound Lutheran doctrine, and assisting with the liturgy during Divine Services. He also assists with administrative duties, visitation and campus outreach to local students so they may hear the Gospel as well.
Zachary was born in Clinton, Md., and lives in Henderson, Nev. He graduated from Martin Luther College and is currently a student at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne (CTSFW). While in school, Zachary has worked part-time as a Walmart sales associate, a custodian and a student worker on campus at CTSFW. Zachary did his field work at Faith Lutheran Church in Roanoke, Ind., and summer field work at his home congregation, Grace Lutheran Church in Henderson, Nev. In his free time, Zachary enjoys lifting weights, climbing, reading and playing guitar.
Prayers
Pray for Zachary as he serves in Japan. Ask God to give him wisdom, strength and patience as he journeys to this new part of the world. May he stay steadfast in faith and grow from this experience. Pray for Zachary’s family during this time apart, and ask God to watch over him. Pray also for the people that Zachary meets, that they would eagerly receive the Gospel and that the church in Japan would grow according to God’s will. Give thanks to God for sending Zachary to serve His children in this part of the world.
