How We Serve: Mission & Mercy

The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod

National Mission

LCMS National Mission

The LCMS Office of National Mission works within the borders of the United States to support the programs and resources available to congregations, districts, schools, Recognized Service Organizations and other Lutheran organizations.

International Mission

LCMS International Mission

The LCMS Office of International Mission recruits, trains, sends and cares for our missionaries, human care workers and international educators.

The LCMS believes education should address the whole person — body, mind and spirit — beginning in early childhood, continuing through higher education and extending to graduate theological education.
