Bible Study: ‘Joy-fully Lutheran’
LCMS National Convention • July 20-25, 2019 • Tampa, Florida

A special Bible study series was prepared for the 67th Regular Convention of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod in July 2019, and it relates to the convention theme, “Joy:fully Lutheran.”
The five-part study is particularly appropriate for congregational or group use during the Lent or Easter seasons, and it provides a joyful balance between learning theology and applying the God’s truths in our lives.
Most importantly, the Bible study consistently points us all to Christ Jesus as our true joy, and you will learn more about what it means to be “Joy:fully Lutheran.”
Based on 1 Thess. 5:16–18, the study explores what it means to “Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
