Guardians Giving Program
There is no greater need in the hearts of our servicemen and women than to hear the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ. LCMS Ministry to the Armed Forces works to provide caring chaplains to meet that need. You too can walk with our chaplains at the tip of the spear in proclaiming the Good News to our servicemen and women serving our nation all over the globe by partnering with the Guardians giving program.
Guardians members support the recruiting, training, and endorsing of all LCMS chaplains by LCMS Ministry to the Armed Forces. This includes chaplains serving the military, the Veterans Administration, Reserve, Civil Air Patrol, National Guard, and Bureau of Prison ministries. In addition to the chaplains, Guardians sustain the Ministry-by-Mail program that reaches over 5,600 military on a quarterly basis and Operation Barnabas, the initiative to equip congregations for the critical role they can play in helping veterans and their families.
The demands on the members of the military and their families are great…and will continue well into an unforeseeable future. Please prayerfully consider becoming a Guardian today.
