Zach Eshelman,
Serving the Lord in Taiwan
Bio

Zach Eshelman serves the Lord in Taiwan through The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. At Concordia Middle School (CMS) he teaches elementary-level English classes and also leads Bible and small group studies. Outside of the classroom, he participates in youth group for the CMS students and Friday Night Bible Study involving the local Taiwanese Lutheran church, school and community. In all Zach does, he seeks to build relationships in which God may use him to share about Jesus Christ, His love and the Gospel.
Zach was born and raised in Tucson, Ariz., where his home congregation is Christ Lutheran Vail Church. He attended Hiram College in Hiram, Ohio, and Baylor University, Waco, Texas, and graduated from Baylor with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy. Running, playing soccer and reading are a few of Zach’s hobbies.
Prayers
Please pray for Zach as he serves the Lord in Taiwan and give thanks to God that He has led Zach to serve in Taiwan. Zach asks, "Please pray that I will serve my students and colleagues in the way that God has called me to. Pray that I will be able to cross any barriers (language, culture, etc.) that may prevent me from connecting with the people that God has called me to. And finally, pray that I will confess Christ crucified for the forgiveness of the sins of the world and that I will do so in spirit and in truth."
