Margaret Lewis,
Serving the Lord in the Czech Republic
Bio

Margaret Lewis serves the Lord through The Lutheran Church— Missouri Synod as a GEO missionary. (GEO missionaries are globally engaged in outreach and serve in locations around the world for terms of 1-2 years.) Margaret teaches English classes in the Czech Republic, where she builds relationships with local people and looks for opportunities to share the Gospel with them.
Margaret’s hometown is St. Louis, Mo., and she is a member of Timothy Lutheran Church. She graduated from Augustana College with a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and history and a minor in religion. Margaret enjoys volunteering, sewing, gardening, swimming and reading in her spare time. In addition, she has served on several short-term mission trips, which included travel to North Carolina in 2007, Jamaica in 2010 and Peru in 2011.
Prayers
Please pray for Margaret as she serves the Lord in the Czech Republic. She writes, “I ask for prayers both for me and for the community I will be serving in, so that we can develop relationships with one another, learn from each other and grow in the Lord. I also pray that I will be able to see where God needs me and that He will give me wisdom.” Give thanks to God for Margaret’s service in the Czech Republic, and pray that He would use her to His glory.
