Bio

Marva Ludgood serves the Lord through The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod as a GEO missionary in the Republic of South Africa. (GEO missionaries are globally engaged in outreach and serve for terms of 1-2 years in locations around the world.) Marva serves as a teacher at St. Peter Lutheran College, a primary school in the township of Middleburg.
Marva is from Mobile, Ala., where she is a member of Faith Lutheran Church. Marva holds Master of Education degrees in elementary education, special education learning disabilities, counseling and psychometry. She also holds an educational specialist degree in administration and supervision. In her free time, Marva enjoys reading religious and historical literature.

Please pray for Marva and give thanks that she has faithfully responded to God’s call to serve in South Africa. Pray that the Holy Spirit will give her the mercy and grace to further His kingdom. Ask the Lord to bless her relationships with her students and provide her with opportunities share the Gospel in word and deed as she teaches and serves.
