Graham Guenther,
Serving the Lord in South Korea

Graham GuentherGraham Guenther serves the Lord through The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) as a GEO (globally engaged in outreach) missionary in Seoul, South Korea. Graham teaches English to students at two local churches and assists the churches in other various capacities.

Graham is from Overland Park, Kan., and his home congregation is Lord of Life Lutheran Church, Leawood, Kan. He graduated from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa, with a degree in political science and history. Prior to serving in South Korea, Graham served as a missionary at Concordia Middle School in Chiayi, Taiwan for six years. He enjoys playing computer games, soccer and reading about global issues.

Please pray for Graham as he serves in South Korea. Pray that he would be a positive witness to God’s love. Pray too that the Lord would prepare the hearts and minds of those who need to hear the Gospel message and would use Graham to share it with them. Finally, pray that Graham’s Korean language skills improve quickly so that he can communicate more effectively with the people in their native language. Let us give thanks to God that Graham is serving His children in this part of the world.

The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod Inc., including Mission Central (in Mapleton, Iowa), is an IRS registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charity.

A contribution designated (restricted) for a specific purpose when accepted, will be used only to fund expenses related to that purpose. Occasionally, we may receive more in contributions for a particular purpose than can be wisely applied to it in the foreseeable future or the purpose may cease to be feasible. In these situations, the LCMS will make reasonable attempts to contact contributors to apply their contribution differently. If a contributor cannot be contacted, the LCMS will use the gift to meet a similar pressing need that most closely matches the contributor's original intent.  Consistent with Synod Board policy, no more than 12 percent of a charitable contribution may be applied to administering gifts and communicating with contributors.  Contributions received and accepted by the LCMS are deemed to be in agreement with this statement.
