Rev. Dale and Suzanne KasterRev. Dale and Suzanne Kaster serve the Lord as missionaries through The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) in Ghana, West Africa. In this role, Dale trains men from the country of Ghana to serve as pastors of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ghana (ELCG). Through the relationships that are formed, Dale and Suzanne seek to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the people of Ghana.

Dale was born in Stephenville, Newfoundland, Canada. His home congregation is Celebration Lutheran Church, Jacksonville, Fla. He graduated from Concordia College, Bronxville, N.Y., with a bachelor’s degree in Judeo-Christian heritage. He received his Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Mo. Before becoming a career missionary, Dale served as a pastor at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Point Pleasant, N.J. (1989-1994); Celebration Lutheran Church, Jacksonville, Fla. (1994-2010); and Martin Luther Chapel, Pennsauken, N.J. (2010-2013). He also served on short-term mission trips to the Ntshongweni Village in South Africa (2007-2011). Dale’s hobbies include cooking, skeet shooting, reading and Civil War history.

Suzanne was born in LaGrange, Ill., and her home congregation is also Celebration Lutheran Church, Jacksonville, Fla. She attended Concordia University Chicago, River Forest, Ill. Suzanne’s hobbies include cross-stitching, making crafts, reading and working on genealogy.


Please pray for Dale and Suzanne as they serve in Ghana, West Africa. Please ask God to daily give Dale the strength and knowledge to teach. Pray that the Holy Spirit leads and guides him as he instructs the students in the Christian faith. Please also pray for the students who receive Dale’s instruction that their hearts and minds are open to what God wants them to learn. Ask God to help each student to grow to become faithful and compassionate undershepherds serving His children. In addition, please pray for all people of Ghana who will learn of the Good News of Jesus Christ through the missionary work that is being done in this country. Let us give thanks to God that Dale and Suzanne answered the call to serve His people in Ghana, West Africa.
