The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod awards two types of domestic grants:

 

Development Grants

Grants

Development Grants provide support to LCMS congregations, districts, Recognized Service Organizations (RSOs) and LCMS-sponsored ministries engaged in human care ministry, particularly those engaged in mercy work that meets a human care need in the community.

Servant Event Grants

Grants

Servant Event Grants are awarded to congregations, camps and Recognized Service Organizations (RSOs) whose servant event(s) are registered through LCMS Youth Ministry. Grants may be used for materials (construction or educational) or scholarship assistance.
