Bio

Rev. Dr. Carl and Deaconess Deborah Rockrohr serve the Lord through the LCMS in Ethiopia. Carl teaches at Mekane Yesus Seminary (EECMY-MYS) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Mekane Yesus Seminary is dedicated to training Lutheran pastors for Ethiopia. Deborah assists Carl with administrative tasks and some theological courses for women.

Carl is a graduate of Concordia University Wisconsin and Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Mo. Deborah received her deaconess training at Concordia University Chicago. She holds a master’s degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Mo. The Rockrohrs have four children: Paul, Jim and Becky, who reside in the United States, and Ted, who lives with Carl and Deborah in Ethiopia.

Prayers

Please pray for Carl and Deborah as they serve in Ethiopia. Pray that God would provide them with prayer and financial supporters in the United States. Pray that the Lord would bless Mekane Yesus Seminary and its supporting congregations. Ask the Lord to grant strength and wisdom to the current seminary students. Finally, pray that the Lord would bring to the seminary those students whom He wants to be trained as pastors.
