Mark and Sandy Eisold,
Serving the Lord in Peru

Bio

Mark and Sandi Eisold serve the Lord in Peru as career missionaries through LCMS World Mission. Their specific ministry includes implementing a mission strategy and leading the LCMS team there. The Eisolds strive to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, gather them into a worship community, raise up new disciples in the teachings of the Bible, identify leaders, equip them for leadership, and commission new believers and leaders to partner with missionaries as they are sent out to start more worship communities.

Mark and Sandi are originally from Florida, where they met through a young adults group at First Lutheran Church in Gainesville. Mark graduated from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Mo., in 2003, and was called to serve as pastor at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Cabot, Ark. Mark has previously served on short-term mission trips to post-Katrina Mississippi and as a chaplain during his vicarage in Clark, N.J., following the 9/11 attacks. Sandi served as a Lutheran school teacher outside of St. Louis, Mo., during their time at the seminary. The Eisolds have two children, Annalise and Erik. Mark’s hobbies include biking, swimming, fishing, target shooting, and gardening, while Sandi enjoys playing games, camping, reading, photography, swimming, and running.

Please pray for the Eisold family as they serve in Peru. They write, “We know that many people in Peru are far from saving faith in Jesus. There are many spiritual obstacles to overcome. Pray for Jesus to make clear paths for our team in Peru. Pray that He would open eyes and ears so that they may hear the Gospel of free forgiveness and new life in Jesus Christ, so that they may know the Lord for who He is. Please pray for the safety and fulfillment of every member of our missionary team.”
