Anna Gruen,
Serving the Lord in Taiwan

Bio

Anna Gruen serves the Lord in Taiwan through The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.  At Concordia Middle School (CMS) she teaches Spanish, Writing and English and also leads Bible and small group studies. Outside of the classroom, she participates in youth group for the CMS students and Friday Night Bible Study involving the local Taiwanese Lutheran church, school and community. In all Anna does, she seeks to build relationships in which God may use her to share about Jesus Christ, His love and the Gospel.

Anna is a native of Lindenhurst, Ill., and is a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Antioch, Ill. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Lutheran Elementary Education with certification in Spanish, English as a Second Language and Theology as well as a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Concordia University Wisconsin, Mequon, Wis. Prior to serving in Taiwan, Anna served on four short-term mission trips to Mexico with CUW, helped lead music ministry at CUW and helped lead vacation Bible school at her home congregation. Anna also recently completed her student teaching at Concordia Middle School in Taiwan.

Please pray for Anna as she serves the Lord in Taiwan and thank God that He has led Anna to serve in Taiwan. Please pray for the missionary team in Taiwan, so that they may have the strength to work diligently there and stay strong in the Word of God. Please pray also for the people of Taiwan — that God would open their hearts to the Good News and God’s love for them in Christ Jesus..
