Lutheran Youth Fellowship
Training by teens for teens
Young people are the church today, and their participation and leadership are vitally important in the life of the church.
Lutheran Youth Fellowship (LYF) is committed to empowering youth to use their leadership gifts to serve His people as they share their faith in Jesus Christ. The initiative was established to identify those youth and equip them to take responsibility for developing leadership.
Annually in March, the LYF Executive Team conducts a leadership training event for their peers. Youth participants are trained to go back to their districts and congregations and provide leadership training events there. Check with your district office for events planned in your area.
Email the LCMS to get information about becoming a professional church worker.
