As the official men’s auxiliary of the LCMS, the Lutheran Laymen’s League is the governing body for Lutheran Hour Ministries, a Christian outreach ministry empowering and equipping churches to communicate the Gospel to all people.

The LCMS is a founding partner of Lutheran Services in America, a social service organization that serves one in every 50 Americans through services in health care, aging and disability support, community development, housing, and child and family strengthening.

Witnessing to God’s love for all people, Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services stands with and advocates for migrants and refugees, transforming communities through ministries of service and justice.
Lutheran World Relief
Lutheran World Relief focuses on attacking the root causes of poverty in rural and remote regions of the world’s poorest countries and breaking the cycles that keep people from being healthy, productive and self-supporting.
International Lutheran Council
The International Lutheran Council is a worldwide association of established confessional Lutheran church bodies that exists for the purpose of encouraging, strengthening and promoting confessional Lutheran theology and practice centering in Jesus Christ, both among member churches and throughout the world.
Recognized Service Organizations
The LCMS works with approximately 300 Recognized Service Organizations (RSOs) to extend its mission outreach, education and social ministry.
These independent organizations — which include a number of elementary and high schools, camps, mission societies and social service organizations — agree to foster the mission and ministry of the LCMS and ensure their programs and services are in harmony with the doctrine and practice of the Synod.
